Our Proudest Work

This chalice came in to our shop from one of our loyal customers. It shows all the signs of beautiful artistry and craftsmanship but was well used and worn. The piece was originally all gold plated with a wonderful gold cross featuring stones at the bottom. As seen in these images our team thoroughly documents the piece and its condition beforehand so we can provide the best quotes possible.

Although the chalice was originally all gold, we had a vision for this piece that we presented to the client. By using two toned silver and gold plating we could accentuate some of the most amazing features of the chalice and elevate the piece to the stunning appearance it now has. The client saw our vision and agreed to proceed, with the result seen here.

Here is one of our skilled craftsmen applying a coating to the chalice. He is doing this because to achieve the two tone the entire piece is silver plated, then the silver is sealed in and it is gold plated over it. This gives the most high quality and robust result possible for a two tone refinishing. Just one of the many ways we exceed customer expectations and deliver the best result.

Here we see the chalice side by side in the new and old finishes. The improvements made to it are striking. The entire piece is brightened, rejuvenated, and looks brand new. This comparison also helps to see how much the two-tone concept we proposed helped to elevate the fine details and craftsmanship of this chalice.
